Calls Going to Voicemail Despite Forward Settings

Symptom

My inbound calls go straight to voicemail, even though I have busy, no answer, and outage forwarding rules set to route calls elsewhere.

Applies To

  • 8x8 Work for Desktop

Resolution

Verify that the user does not have DND enabled in their 8x8 Work for Desktop app.
A message box appears at the time of selecting DND in 8x8 Work for Desktop that states selecting this presence status will route all inbound calls to voicemail.
