Procedure
Due to potential security risks, access to voicemail from an external (non-8x8) number is restricted. If you would like to request that this feature be enabled on your 8x8 service, Create a Case with 8x8 Support. Once enabled, this feature will be available to all users in all locations on your 8x8 service.
- Once this feature is enabled, you can access your 8x8 voicemail from an external line by dialing your 8x8 phone number.
- During the greeting, press #.
- Enter your voicemail password and press # again.
- To return to the main menu at any time, press *.
