How does an agent manually make an outbound call in 8x8 Contact Center?

Objective

Manually make an outbound call as an agent using 8x8 Contact Center.

Procedure

The agent should follow these steps.
  1. Select Work Offline Status.
  2. Select the Phone icon.
  3. Enter the phone number in the box below the line 1 and 2 boxes.
  4. Click Dial.
  5. The workplace phone will ring, answer it.
  6. 8x8 Contact Center will dial the outbound call, and the sound of dialing can be heard.
  7. When answered the destination is connected.
