Objective
Reset a Yealink DECT Base Station to factory defaults using the GUI or through the physical base.

Procedure
Factory Reset Yealink W52P (GUI)
- 1. Log in to the base.
- For a provisioned base use:
- username: admin
- password: mac password (See Get Device Information and Passwords in 8x8 Admin Console.)
- For a factory reset base use:
- username: admin
- password: admin
- For a provisioned base use:
- Navigate to the Phone tab > Upgrade.
- Click Reset Now.
Note: If the Phone tab is empty, see Upgrade Section of Phone Tab Empty in Yealink W52P Interface.
Factory Reset Yealink W52P (Manually)
- Power off the unit - if powered by PoE this might mean unplugging the network cable.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Press and hold the connect button on the base station.
- Reconnect the power.
- Wait until all 3 status lights are on, showing solid green.
- Release the button and wait 5 minutes.
- Power off the unit.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the power.
- Your phone may update its configuration after the reboot which may result in a second reboot process automatically within a minute or two of the first reboot.
Note: You will need to re-pair the handset after resetting the base station back to factory defaults to get the base IP address.
