Overview
NetSuite recently announced the rollout of service upgrade version 2024.2 to its customers, to occur between August 16, 2024 and October 26, 2024.
This NetSuite service upgrade may impact 8x8 customers who are using the integration for 8x8 Work and/or 8x8 Contact Center in NetSuite version 2024.2.

Integration Functionality Impact
The 8x8 integrations with NetSuite must share an automated authentication that allows communication between 8x8 and NetSuite.
Issues: Customers who have been migrated by NetSuite to service version 2024.2, and who have not yet updated their 8x8 integration bundle, will experience a failure of the integration to properly authenticate with NetSuite.
Symptoms of issues include:
- Failure of screen pops
- Failure of the Auto Interaction Log
- Other key Integration capability
For current 8x8 customers who will receive the NetSuite 2024.2 service upgrade
Because NetSuite typically provides only a broad date range for its service upgrades, current 8x8 customer admins are encouraged to perform the integration bundle Update as soon as possible.
Please follow the instructions outlined in our online WebHelp guide to update your existing 8x8 for NetSuite integration.
- Be sure to complete the process to Assign required permissions to user roles when performing the update process!
- Once the Update is complete, it's possible that users might need to clear their web browser cache and/or cookies for the integration to function properly.

If you installed the 8x8 integration after NetSuite’s 2024.2 service upgrade
The NetSuite service upgrade will not impact new 8x8 integration users if they were already using NetSuite’s version 2024.2 service when the integration was properly installed.
