Objective
Creating user profiles in 8x8 Express.

Procedure
- Log in to 8x8 Manager Express.
- Click Users and phones.
- Click Add user or phone. Note: If you do not have any available licenses, you will not be able to add additional users. You will either need to add more by going to the 8x8 Store, or delete existing users to free up licenses.
- Fill out all of the required fields under the Account Detail section. Click the toggle to automatically add this new user to your call handling team.
- If the user is using a desk phone, select the type of device they are using. Then activate the device by the MAC address or the activation code. The MAC address can be found on the bottom of the phone.
- By default, the system will assign an extension number, and a local number that matches your business number's area code. If both of these fit your needs, you can proceed to step 7.
- If you want to change the number, click Change.
- Enter the desired area code and then select the number you like.
- Click Confirm.
- Click Save.
