How do I hide 8x8 Contact Center extensions from the company directory?

Objective

Hide 8x8 Contact Center extensions from the company directory.

Procedure

  1. Log in to 8x8 Admin Console as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to Home > Users.
  3. Search for the Contact Center extension user that you want to hide from the company directory.
  4. To the right of the user, click Edit (pencil icon).
  5. Scroll down to Virtual Contact Center (VCC) agent settings.
  6. Click on the slider to disable the setting.
  7. Click Save.
