Allow Attachments for 8x8 Contact Center Chat Interactions

Objective

Allow agents or customers to send or receive attachments through 8x8 Contact Center chat interactions.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Configuration Manager for Contact Center.
  2. From the left menu, select Chat Design.
  3. Select the Window tab.
  4. From the Window List, select Edit (pencil icon) to the right of the Window for which you want to allow attachments.
  5. Under Features, check the box to Allow customers to send attachments to agent.
  6. Select Save.
