Using Email Content to Process Incoming Email in 8x8 Contact Center

Objective

Use email content to process incoming email in 8x8 Contact Center.

Applies To

  • 8x8 Contact Center v 9.14.8 or higher

Procedure

  1. Create a new email script or copy an existing one to modify. (We highly recommend against modifying an existing script and instead creating a copy and modifying that.)
  2. Add the Check Content object in the script where you want to take action based on the content in the email being processed.
  3. Fill out the object with an object name and the content or content regular expression you're searching for in the email.
  4. Fill in the matched and/or not matched sections of the email script to cause the email to be processed the way you want it to be processed.
