Unable to Access 8x8 Contact Center in NetSuite

Symptom

Cannot access 8x8 Contact Center in NetSuite.

Resolution

  1. Log in to Configuration Manager for Contact Center.
  2. Navigate to the Agents tab to create a new agent. Alternatively, you can use an existing agent account.
  3. In the General tab, enter the agent’s information. Note: Take a note of the agent’s email address in Configuration Manager as it has to match the employee’s email address on NetSuite.
  4. In NetSuite, navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Users.
  5. Click the employee name. Employee information appears. Make sure the email address matches the agent’s email address in Configuration Manager.
  6. On Employee page, select Standard Employee Form from the Custom Form list. Click Edit if you cannot see the Custom Form.
  7. Click Access tab at the bottom of the employee information page.
  8. Select Give Access.
  9. Enter the agent’s user name and tenant (username@tenant) for VCC Agent IDNote: For each agent that is a NetSuite user, you need to add VCC Agent ID to the access tab. The VCC Agent ID is the user name used to log in to 8x8 Contact Center (username@tenant).
  10. Click Save.
