Objective
Add a new SMS channel to the 8x8 Contact Center.

Procedure
- Log in to your 8x8 Application Panel.
- Select Admin Console.
- Select SMS.
- Select Campaign.
- Ensure that Your Campaign's Status is verified.
- Note: For details on how to complete the SMS campaign registration in the Admin Console, see SMS Campaign Registration Admin Console Configuration.
- Contact your 8x8 Account Manager or sales representative to add the required license for SMS channels for 8x8 Contact Center.
- Example: SMS Enabled Local Number-VOSVC0219-US.
- Ensure that the phone numbers for use with the SMS channels are available in the Admin Console.
- Note: The phone numbers will be assigned to the 8x8 Contact Center during the process to provision the SMS channels.
- Your 8x8 Account Manager or sales representative will create an order to provision the SMS channels.
