Unable to Receive Inbound Calls Notifications on Android in 8x8 Work for Mobile

Symptom

Calls are not coming through to 8x8 Work for Mobile app.

Resolution

  1. Log in to 8x8 Work for Mobile App.
  2. Tap the profile image to open your Profile screen.
  3. Ensure your Status is not set on DND.
  4. Check that Mute notifications is not ON as this can block incoming notifications.

  5. Ensure Business hours are scheduled properly, as calls will not be offered to the user outside of set business hours.

  6.  You can also turn off Business hours.
