Removing Licenses in 8x8 Express

Objective

Removing licenses from an 8x8 Express account without completely cancelling the account.

Procedure

Removing licenses from your account and no longer being charged for them is considered a partial cancellation. You will need to contact 8x8 Support through Otto, our AI-powered Virtual Assistant.

In the lower right corner of the 8x8 Support Knowledge Base, click on Otto.
Type Cancellations.
When Otto asks if you would like to cancel services, either partially or in full, select Yes.
Select Express.
Select Remove Licenses from my Account.
Select Contact 8x8.
Select Yes.
Log in with your 8x8 credentials to contact 8x8 Support.
