Set an Assigned User Number as the Main Business Number in 8x8 Express

Objective

Set a number assigned to a user as the main business number.

Log in to 8x8 Manager Express.
From the navigation menu on the left, select Users and phones.
Select the name of the user you wish to edit.
To the right of the phone number, select Change.
Select a temporary number from the suggested numbers, or enter a new area code and select a number. Note: The number released should show as the first number on the list of suggested numbers when you select Change again.
Select Confirm.
Select Save.
From the navigation menu on the left, select Business settings.
To the right of Business number, select Change.
Select the number (the number you previously released) from the suggested numbers.
Select Confirm.
Select Save.
