Updating your desktop notifications for calls, voicemail, and chat in 8x8 Work for Desktop.

Procedure
- Log in to 8x8 Work for Desktop.
- Click Settings.
- Select Notifications.
- To allow desktop notifications, switch the toggle on (blue) to enable notifications.
- Under Advanced Settings, turn on any other notifications you wish to receive.
- If you do not want to receive any desktop notifications, switch the toggle to gray to disable all desktop notifications.
Question: My 8x8 app on my phone receives notifications for all calls. I only want notifications for some calls. How can I do this?
Answer: It's not possible to limit notifications to specific calls. If a user's 8x8 Work notification settings are enabled, they will receive a notification for all calls, regardless of whether they are incoming directly to their extension or if the user is part of a ring group or assigned to a call queue.
