Voice for Teams Diagnostic Sync No Longer Works

Symptom

In the 8x8 Voice for Teams admin portal, holding down Alt+Shift on your keyboard and clicking the Sync Now button to initiate a diagnostic sync process no longer results in the creation of a diagnostic sync log in the Sync Jobs area. Only a standard sync log is created after completed sync operations.

Resolution

This is expected behavior with the implementation and enablement of the Next Gen Teams Sync option in the Voice for Teams admin portal in the Services > Teams tab,  which is a prerequisite for enabling the Auto Sync feature.
The sync job information currently provided with the enablement of the Next Gen Teams Sync will receive enhnacements at a future date, to be determined.
