Objective
Set up Outbound Phone Codes in 8x8 Contact Center.

Procedure
- Log in to Configuration Manager for Contact Center.
- From the left menu, select Outbound Phone Codes.
- Select +Add to create a code list.
- Fill in the Name, language, and check the Active box.
- Select Save.
- Under the Codes tab, select +Add.
- Check Active to enable the code.
- Fill in the Text of the code, Report Text, and select a Queue.
- Double-click on the Calling line identifier blue word/number.
- Select a channel number from the Calling Line ID list box that opens.
- Repeat steps 6-10 until you have all the codes/numbers you want set up.
- Select Save.
- Select the Assignments tab.
- Select the Groups that are to use the code list.
- Select Save.
Amending an Already Set Up Code
- Log in to Configuration Manager for Contact Center.
- From the left menu, select Outbound Phone Codes.
- Select the Code list you want to amend and edit it.
- Go to the Codes tab.
- Add/delete/deactivate any codes you need.
- Go to the Assignments tab.
- Adjust as needed the groups to use the codes.
Note: Agents will need to select the appropriate code from their outbound code list to show the number they want to use as their outbound dial code.
