How to Disable a Dedicated VCC Extension in the Admin Console

Disabling Dedicated VCC extension

Applies To

  • Admin Console

Procedure

  1. Log in to Admin Console.
  2. Go to Users.
  3. Find the user you want to change.
  4. Click on the 3 dots on the right.
  5. Click on disable the dedicated VCC extension.

Additional Information 

When the Dedicated VCC Extension feature is enabled, users are restricted from placing outbound calls through the 8x8 Work for Desktop application, the 8x8 Work for Mobile application, or a physical desk phone. To ensure proper call logging and integration, all outbound dialing must be performed exclusively through the Agent Workspace interface.
