Effective March 1, 2023, 8x8 has ended the sale of Express services. New 8x8 Express accounts are no longer available for purchase.

What is happening?

As stated above, 8x8 has ended the sale of Express service on March 1, 2023, so new 8x8 Express accounts are no longer available to purchase.

Why is 8x8 not selling Express anymore?

This is part of 8x8's strategic product realignment effort.

Does this affect my current 8x8 Express account?

No, current Express customers are not affected by this change. Their accounts will operate as they did before March 1, 2023, subject to any future changes.

I have 8x8 Express. Can I still add new lines to my service?

Yes. After March 1, 2023, existing Express customers will still be able to purchase currently available Express services.

Will support change for 8x8 Express?

Support for 8x8 Express customers will not change after the End of Sale date of March 1, 2023.
8x8 Express is a self-service product, so configuration, account administration, and billing will continue to be handled directly by the Express customer.
Also, Express customers will still be able to report issues and questions through their appropriate Support channels. This has not changed.

Does this mean that 8x8 Express will be discontinued?

At this time there are no plans to discontinue the 8x8 Express product.

Can I upgrade from 8x8 Express?

Yes. 8x8 X Series accounts are available to 8x8 Express customers. Contact Sales to upgrade your account.
