Warm Transfer Button is missing from 8x8 Work Application

Warm Transfer Option is missing or grayed out in 8x8 Work Application

Resolution

Describe how to fix the issue. If there are multiple steps, number them in order...
  1. Login as an Admin in Admin Console.
  2. Click on the hamburger menu (three lines) located in the top left corner of the page.
  3. Scroll down and locate Profile Policies.
  4. Select the Profile Policy in which the user is assigned to that is missing the warm transfer option in the 8x8 Work Application.
  5. Disable the option for "8x8 Work Meeting access disabled" (The toggle switch will be gray).
  6. Click on Save at the bottom of the page.
  7. Advise the affected user to log out and log back in to the 8x8 Work Application.

Cause

Warm Transfer/Conference Calling option uses the meeting services to perform the Warm Transfer.
