Objective

Enable or disable Call Recording while on an active call in 8x8 Work for Desktop.

Procedure

  1. While in an active call on 8x8 Work for Desktop, select More Options (three dots).
    ​​
  2. Select Record to start recording.
  3. Select Stop to end call recording.

Additional Information 

Call recording audio files will be as long as the call lasted. The recorded section will only last until Stop recording is selected. The remainder of audio file will be silence. For example, if Stop recording is clicked exactly one minute into a two-minute call, only the first minute will have audio and the second will be of silence.
