Objective
Add, update, or remove email contacts for 8x8 service notifications.

Procedure
Steps for adding, editing, or deleting contacts from the 8x8 Customer Notifications.
- Login to 8x8 Application Panel
- Click the Contact Center for Configuration Manager tile (with administration access).
- Click Home.
- Select Profile.
- Look for the Maintenance email distribution list.
- Enter the desired email address(es).
- If entering multiple addresses, separate them with a comma (,).
| Note: There is a character limit for the field to add contact email addresses. It is best practice to create an email alias or group with a single address to be added here, or keep the list of contacts pared down to a reasonably manageable amount (5 or fewer). |
- Click Save.
Additional Information
- All VCC customers are automatically added to the notification tool.
- The notification email addresses will be populated via the maintenance contact field in Contact Center for Configuration Manager. Caveat: If the you have more than one tenant, all maintenance contacts will need to be added to all tenants.
- The Primary admin email address is always added to the contacts.
